Mike
Goldby
1949 ~ 2009
It is with
great sadness that I have to inform you that Mike Goldby lost his
battle against illness and passed away in the early hours of Friday, 4
Dec 09.
Mike has
been a stalwart of RAFMAA for as long as I can remember and has been
involved with many aspects of free flight and R/C scale modelling, within
both the RAFMAA and
the BMFA. He has even represented the UK in international scale
competition gaining much recognition for his workmanship and
professionalism.
Modelling
wasn't the only interest that Mike had, he also owned his own
competition sailing boat and took part in many racing events.
His
funeral took place at The All Saint's Church Ruskington on Monday, 14
Dec 09
Mike has
been a good friend and will be surely missed. Our thoughts are with his
wife and
family.
